Yazma hatalarının giderilmesine yönelik çok sayıda öneri dile getirildiği görülmüştür. Bu önerilerden birçoğu öğrencinin bireysel olarak çalıştırılmasına yöneliktir. Ayrıca birbiri ile zıt görüşler de dile getirilmiştir. Bazı öğretmenler daha az yazı yazdırmak gerektiğini dile getirirken bazı öğretmenler daha çok yazma çalışması yapılmasını ve yazma ödevinin verilmesi gerektiğini belirtmişledir. Demirel (1992) ve İnce (2006), yazma ile ilgili yanlışlıkların üzerinde önemle durulması ve tekrar çalışmalarının önemini ve gerekliliğini vurgulamışlardır.
